WEBSITE + NEWSLETTER PACKAGES
Manage website and newsletter advertising packages.
A single fixed-fee purchase can include a website ad and multiple newsletter issues from one publisher. Keep their distinct conditions under the quoted package total. Record optional item prices only when the publisher explicitly quoted them, alongside their original currency and source. The package total remains separate. Datacow leaves unpriced items empty and does not allocate the total across them.
See exactly what changed
Illustrative example only: a USD 2,800 quote includes a 30-day website ad and two newsletter issues. The second issue moves from 12 November to 19 November, and the publisher adds USD 300. Save the USD 3,100 offer as a new version with the moved issue. The original USD 2,800 approval cannot approve the revised package.
Confirm the same version
An internal approval, the publisher’s commitment and buyer acceptance all refer to the same exact offer. A new proposal does not silently replace an existing agreement. Retain the original messages, itemized changes and decisions in the procurement evidence pack. Link a publisher explanation to the same offer and delivery item; explain its relevance when using a statement about the whole purchase.
Keep delivery review explicit
Review authorized evidence for the agreed scope. One visible website ad does not establish that either newsletter was sent. This release uses team-recorded supporting evidence for packages and does not automatically verify the full package, audience size or marketing results.
Use the website and newsletter package quote checklist to review the total, item conditions and changes before approval. Review newsletter-specific conditions, prepare a newsletter sponsorship brief, or evaluate one package quote you are already handling.
Review a changed item without losing the whole package
If a newsletter issue moves while the website ad stays the same, keep both the change and the unchanged conditions visible. Follow the website and newsletter package change approval guide for a before-and-after record and a fresh review of the entire revised offer. A proposed replacement or makegood is not delivered evidence.
