Privacy & data handling

Datacow stores the account details and placement records you choose to add, including publisher messages, offers, confirmations, payment records and page checks. Your team uses these to review what happened and decide what comes next.

Access and records

Team roles control workspace access. A publisher who opens a confirmation link must verify their email before seeing their own offer. This confirms access to the email address, not company identity or permission to sell the placement.

Original email intake

Datacow stores the complete email files you forward or import, including their headers and attachments. We do not connect to or read your mailbox. Pending originals are visible only to the person who imported them. After attachment, the placement’s access rules govern the original and its downloads. Only forward from your registered mailbox to your current private intake address, and save material you may share with those reviewers. Email headers do not verify the original publisher or its sales rights.

Retention and exports

Archiving preserves placement records and linked originals; it does not delete them. Pending and dismissed emails stay in your personal inbox and consume workspace storage. You can explicitly and permanently delete a dismissed email that has never been attached; download it first if you need to keep a copy. Placement evidence packs include linked original files. Workspace JSON exports include records and file references, but do not include private pending emails or the raw email files. Administrator workspace deletion removes database records and original email files, subject to the existing billing safety checks.

Abuse prevention

Cloudflare Turnstile protects sign-in, registration, email verification, publisher confirmation and sample workspace creation.

Site analytics

Google Analytics runs automatically on public catalog pages and the outer sign-in and registration pages. It uses cookies to measure page visits and fixed actions such as registration-link clicks, known template-link clicks and local tool actions. Automatic form, site-search, outbound-link and file-download measurement is not used. Resource and tool inputs run inside an isolated local frame without the Analytics tag; only fixed action names and catalog resource or tool identifiers can reach the outer page measurement. Entered text, files, email addresses, passwords and private workspace records are not sent by Datacow to Analytics. The tag is not loaded on private workspace, publisher confirmation, email verification, password recovery or isolated input-frame pages. Page details omit URL queries and fragments. Referring links, when the browser provides them, are limited to known public paths or the referring site; a missing referrer remains unknown. An explicit resource identifier on a registration link describes the selected resource, not an inferred acquisition source. A template-link click or prepared local download does not prove that a file was saved or a purchase completed. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

Optional support chat

Chatwoot loads only after you choose Chat with us on a public page. It handles the message and contact details you enter together with public page and browser connection information. Private workspace records and account details are not automatically sent to Chatwoot. You can use email instead.

Your controls

Workspace administrators can export records and request deletion from Settings, subject to subscription and checkout safety checks.

Optional AI review

When an authorized buyer requests AI review, Datacow sends the selected original text or files, relevant purchase terms, and recorded approval, delivery and feedback notes to DeepSeek. History or renewal requests also include up to 10 other purchase records that buyer may access. This requires a separate authorization for each task. Saving a private file alone does not send it to the model. Select only material you may share for this purpose. Datacow retains review results, citations and usage records with workspace access controls. Generated text may contain errors; your team reviews it before adopting terms or sharing a draft. Private workspace content is not sent to site analytics.

Software billing and evaluation data

Creem processes Datacow software subscription payments. Datacow keeps account, subscription, payment-period and billing-event records needed to manage software access. Evaluation records include the owner, activation or request, consent, recorded access dates and review history. The owner account identifier, a hash of the verified email, activation and consent record are retained after workspace deletion to prevent repeat evaluations. Customer value records contain the time, cost assumptions and supporting references your administrator chooses to save; these are separate from publisher payments and are available only to workspace administrators. Do not enter card details in the workspace.
